QUALIFICATIONS:
As part of the GE Capital Real Estate Finance team, supports all finance-related applications and manages or participates in complex projects involving Oracle Financial Systems applications. Performs professional accounting/system work involving system development, maintenance, compilation, consolidation, and analysis of financial data. Provides non-routine report development, end-user support, application development and implementation, application support, project management, and application
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
Assists Finance Manager, Systems in Oracle Financial Systems effectiveness and accounting integrity through ongoing user support and financial process controls
Assists Global Asset Management, Global Investment Management and Expense Productivity teams with data requests and reporting requirements
Works with various project teams on developing strategy and implementing corporate initiatives and enhancements of existing Financial Systems
Leverages Finance System knowledge to ensure systemic tie to processes and help remediate accounting disconnects
Participates in Finance Systems Training process globally for the GERE (GE Real Estate) business
Assists in maintaining GERE Financial Systems Training Support Central site and ensure that all training materials are kept up-to-date including any new functionality enhancements
Leverages lean, simplification and six sigma tools to increase Finance Systems effectiveness and productivity
Assists on additional ad-hoc financial projects
Duties may include the following but are not a primary function:
Responsible for leading and involved in all finance projects with a predominant focus on IT related finance systems projects
Responsible for growth projects/initiatives. This includes new growth ventures, acquisitions/dispositions and any related systems integrations
Manages quality process improvement projects. Drives continuous process improvement initiatives/projects within the finance team
Manages corporate initiatives/projects. Serves as the project lead for any GE Corporate projects at business level
BASIC REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor's Degree with 2+ years experience in a financial services environment
5 + years of financial experience
2+ years experience acting as a finance lead on crossfunctional business initiatives
Strong organizational skills
