SuccessfulAssociatesdemonstratededication, leadership, passion for the industry and a strong work ethic.Theirrolesand responsibilities includeleading andperformingcorporate financeanalysis, developing client deliverables,mentoringand directing junior professionals and supporting senior professionals in business development and transaction execution activities.Associatesaretypicallyinvolved in abroad rangeof transactions and advisory projects, includingmergers & acquisitions, divestitures, equity and debt financing, strategic advisory/alternativeprojectsand fullcapital structure solution projects.

More specifically, you willbe requiredto:
- Assistin developing proposals to clients and potential clients for equity and debt placements, mergers, asset or company divestitures or acquisitions, and other financial products and advisory services
- Conduct industry research and analysis toassistin the identification and/or analysis of investment banking business opportunities
- Develop and audit sophisticated financial models
- Participate in cross functional work streams and liaising with other units of Desjardins Capital Markets in executing mandates or preparing proposals for clients
- Prepare industry and financial analysis todetermineclient recommendations
- Lead industry comparable value and transaction precedent analyses
- Assistin company due diligence investigations
- Prepare offering memoranda and marketing materials
- Assistwith prospectus drafting
- Mentor, train and direct junior professionals
- Conduct presentations to clients as a member of the client coverage team
What you bring to the table:
Advanced knowledge of technical / computer skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Bloomberg,FactSet, Argus Enterprise)
