Rand Technology is growing and we are looking for a Senior Treasury Analyst to join our Finance Team in our Irvine, CA office.
we are looking for candidates who are detailed, analytical, and have a foundation in treasury, cash management, or corporate finance.
Role Summary
The Senior Treasury Analyst owns the day-to-day execution of the Company's global treasury deliverables, including banking activity, asset-based lending (ABL) compliance, borrowing base reporting, cash forecasting, and liquidity monitoring. This role operates independently on established processes while partnering with the VP & Controller/CFO for guidance on judgment calls, exceptions, and escalations. The Senior Treasury Analyst also partners with Accounting, Finance, and Sales Operations to ensure accurate reporting and lender compliance across domestic and international entities.
Banking & Treasury Operations
- Own daily global cash positioning and liquidity monitoring across domestic and international entities, escalating exceptions to the VP & Controller/CFO.
- Execute cash movement between legal entities in line with established regulatory, tax, and internal-control guidelines.
- Own domestic and international wire activity and treasury payment workflows.
- Maintain day-to-day banking relationships and support new banking initiatives, account openings, and service changes.
- Own bank account administration, authorized-signer updates, and online banking platform user access.
- Maintain treasury management systems and banking portals, including JPMorgan Chase, HSBC, and other financial institutions.
Asset-Based Lending (ABL)
- Own preparation of daily, weekly, and monthly borrowing base certificates and related collateral reporting.
- Monitor borrowing availability and liquidity under multiple ABL facilities, flagging issues to the VP & Controller/CFO.
- Ensure compliance with credit agreements, reporting requirements, and borrowing base eligibility rules.
- Own collateral reporting for accounts receivable, inventory, cash, and foreign collateral
- Monitor reserves, concentration limits, advance rates, and ineligible collateral.
- Support lender field examinations, collateral audits, and third-party diligence requests.
- Coordinate responses to banks, auditors, and third-party collateral examiners.
Banking Compliance
- Monitor compliance with financial covenants, reporting deadlines, and other credit agreement requirements.
- Own and maintain the lender reporting and compliance calendar.
- Coordinate periodic reporting required under credit agreements and banking arrangements.
- Assist with amendments, renewals, refinancing, and new financing arrangements as needed.
- Track covenant calculations, reporting exceptions, and early-warning indicators, raising concerns to the VP & Controller/CFO.
Cash Forecasting & Liquidity
- Own the development and maintenance of a rolling 13-week cash forecast.
- Prepare monthly and quarterly liquidity forecasts and scenario analysis.
- Analyze cash-flow drivers and recommend short-term funding needs, with final decisions made in partnership with the VP & Controller/CFO.
- Monitor working-capital requirements and significant transaction-related cash needs.
Working Capital Management
- Own monitoring of accounts receivable collections and related borrowing base impacts.
- Analyze inventory levels, aging, eligibility, and liquidity implications.
- Coordinate with Sales and Operations on large transactions that affect liquidity or collateral availability.
- Support initiatives to improve the cash conversion cycle and working-capital efficiency.
Financial Analysis & Reporting
- Analyze borrowing costs, interest expense, bank fees, and facility utilization.
- Prepare treasury reporting packages and liquidity updates for management.
- Evaluate banking products, treasury services, and process-improvement opportunities, recommending changes to the VP & Controller/CFO.
- Support foreign exchange exposure monitoring and international cash-management analysis.
Internal Controls & Governance
- Maintain treasury policies, procedures, and desktop instructions.
- Uphold segregation of duties and access controls across treasury activities.
- Support internal-control, audit, and compliance requirements.
- Identify and recommend opportunities for treasury automation, standardization, and reporting improvements.
Projects & Support
- Support treasury-related system implementations and banking integrations.
- Assist with ERP integrations affecting cash, payments, and treasury reporting.
- Participate in banking transitions, refinancing projects, and lender onboarding.
- Support acquisitions, legal-entity expansion, and international growth initiatives as needed.
Requirements
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- 4–6 years of treasury, banking, corporate finance, or ABL experience.
- Solid working knowledge of asset-based lending, borrowing base reporting, working-capital management, cash forecasting, and banking operations.
- Strong Excel and financial modeling skills.
- Demonstrated ability to independently own recurring deliverables, manage multiple deadlines, and maintain banking relationships and compliance obligations.
- Strong analytical, organizational, communication, and cross-functional partnership skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Progress toward CTP (Certified Treasury Professional), CFA, or CPA designation.
- Exposure to multi-entity global treasury operations and international banking relationships.
- Experience supporting ABL facilities.
- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 or comparable ERP platforms.
- Familiarity with JPMorgan Chase, HSBC, or similar global banking platforms.
- Exposure to foreign exchange and international cash-management activities.
- Experience in electronics distribution, wholesale, manufacturing, or another inventory-intensive industry.
