Job Summary
We are looking for a Treasury Manager - Debt & Exposure Management for its client based in Qatar. The role assists the Treasury Director in the management of debt and equity financing, liquidity risk, counterparty risk management, interest rate and foreign exchange exposures and oversight of cash flow forecasting.
Job Responsibilities:
Manage Group banking relationships for debt and equity funding requirements in accordance with policies and guidelines.
Assess and manage financial risks, including interest rate risk, foreign exchange risk, and credit risk, through hedging and risk management strategies.
Manage and co-ordinate with lenders and legal counsel LMA documentation for debt facilities.
Monitor and analyze market trends, economic conditions, and regulatory changes to anticipate potential impacts on the organization's financial position and strategies.
Provide support to senior management on financial risk assessments, investment strategies, and capital allocation decisions.
Assist the Treasury Director and CFO with balance sheet capital structuring and impact on leverage ratios
Management covenant analysis and remediation structures relating to Group debt.
Job Requirements:
Minimum 12 years’ experience in a tier 1 bank or corporation. GCC experiences an advantage.
Bachelor’s degree in business, accounting and finance, or economics.
MBA, CFA, CMA, ACA or ACCA is mandatory
Proficiency in financial risk management, including foreign exchange risk, interest rate risk, and credit risk.
Experience in right-sizing capital structure for a top tier corporate organization.
Experience in the following debt and equity structures – Sukuk, Private Placement, Syndication, Bilateral, Bridge and Club structures, Bond issuance and IPO.
Proficiency in regulatory and compliance requirements for a listed company, including KYC and AML specialism.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Experience in developing and implementing treasury policies, procedures, and controls to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and best practices.
Strong Excel skills.
ERP knowledge, preferably SAP.
