A fantastic opportunity has presented itself for a Senior Portfolio Manager reporting to the Executive Manager, Field Portfolio Governance & Delivery.
A bit about your role
As a Senior Portfolio Manager, you will lead the prioritisation, governance and delivery oversight of a portfolio of strategic initiatives that support nbn’s Field Strategy and broader corporate objectives. Working closely with Executive General Managers, General Managers and Sponsors across the organisation, you will help translate strategic ambitions into clear, actionable roadmaps that deliver measurable business value and long-term operational improvements.
You will bring together diverse stakeholders to align priorities, establish governance frameworks and ensure programs and projects are delivered in line with agreed timelines, benefits and investment outcomes. By partnering with Project Managers, Business Delivery Owners and Technology Delivery Owners, you will provide clarity on objectives, success measures and delivery expectations, while proactively managing risks, dependencies and opportunities across the portfolio.
In this role, you will play a trusted advisory role to senior leaders, providing strategic insights, portfolio performance reporting and evidence-based recommendations that support informed decision making. You will contribute to the development of executive-level communications and presentations, helping to tell the story of transformation across Field Services while ensuring investment decisions are aligned with business strategy, customer outcomes and sustainable value creation.
