About the Role
We are looking for an Investment Associate to support the evaluation, execution and ongoing management of investments across our global portfolio. Based in Singapore, you will work closely with the Group CFO and senior management across the full investment lifecycle - from screening and due diligence through transaction execution and portfolio monitoring. This is a hands-on role in a lean team, offering significant ownership and direct exposure to investment decision-makers.
Key Responsibilities
Investment Analysis & Execution - 70%
- Evaluate investment opportunities, including financial analysis, valuation and financial modeling.
- Conduct and coordinate commercial and financial due diligence.
- Prepare investment recommendations for senior management.
- Support deal structuring, negotiation and transaction execution.
- Coordinate legal, tax and other advisers through signing and closing.
Portfolio Management - 20%
- Monitor portfolio company financial and operational performance.
- Track investment exposure, ownership, valuations and follow-on funding.
- Prepare regular portfolio updates for senior management.
Origination & Screening - 10%
- Screen inbound opportunities and conduct company, market and sector research.
- Support opportunity sourcing and maintain the investment pipeline.
Skills & Experience
- 3-5 years' relevant experience in investment banking, private equity, venture capital, transaction advisory or corporate finance.
- Strong financial modeling, valuation and analytical skills.
- Sound understanding of transaction structures and due diligence.
- Exposure to early-stage, growth or minority investments is preferred.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- High attention to detail, commercial curiosity and the ability to work independently.
- Discreet and comfortable handling sensitive financial and commercial information.
